Fall is a transitional time in which redfish are spawning inoffshore schools then moving to more interior marshes when the temperatures start to drop. We stay pretty mobile this time of year, fishing as far west as Lafitte and as far east as Slidell, so where we recommend you stay will depend on how the season goes.We can usually call where we are going to fish one week out from the trip. Other species you may see in the fall include jacks, sharks, cobia, gar and triple tail.
Weather is always a factor so we recommend you book your trip with the possibility of rescheduling. We don’t want you locked into a flight or hotel room and the weather is not fishable. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions about fishing or lodging this time of year.
