FALL FISHING IN LOUISIANA
Fall is a transitional time in which redfish are spawning in offshore schools then moving to more interior marshes when the temperatures start to drop. We stay pretty mobile during the early part of the fall, fishing as far west as Lafitte and as far east as Slidell, so where we recommend you stay will depend on how the season goes. We can usually call where we are going to fish one week out from the trip. Other species you may see in the early part of fall include jacks, sharks, cobia, gar and triple tail.
As the fall fronts continue the water temperature will start a steady drop which triggers the large breeding redfish to move inside. This usually happens late oct or early to mid November. Starting November 1 I will be focusing on southeast Louisiana and will have these packages available.
November 1-may 31 2019
Packages for a total of 4 with double occupancy
4 night stay 3 days of fishing $1300 per person
4 night stay 3 days of fishing with food and booze included $1800 per person
Single Occupancy packages are available
We will be happy to customize packages as well.
Weather is always a factor so we recommend you book your trip with the possibility of rescheduling. We don’t want you locked into a flight or hotel room and the weather is not fishable. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions about fishing or lodging this time of year.
